Fun for the family and free for kids, downtown Kennebunks 9th Annual May Day Festival returns! Highlights of this day-long event include a Main Street parade at 2 pm, a 5k Fun Run & Walk, live entertainment and demonstrations, May basket-making, May pole and circle dancing, spring flower sale, Faerie Festival and Faerie Garden planting, a climbing wall, opening of the Kennebunk Farmers Market, a chicken BBQ dinner, and more! Special thanks to Kennebunk Savings Bank Foundation and Garden Street Market for supporting this springtime tradition.
