November 2 & 3 - Rain or Shine
TIME: 10 am to 4 pm each day

For many holiday shoppers, the season will start this year with the 30th Annual League of Maine Craft Show November 2 & 3 from 10 am to 4 pm at Wells Junior High School on Route 1.

More than 60 New England artists and crafters are featured at the juried show, which presents a mix of contemporary, traditional and country crafts. Theres lots to see, including jewelry, stained glass, pottery, folk art, wooden creations, fiber arts, herbal products, paper art, specialty foods and much more. Lunch and snacks are available. Parking and Admission are FREE.

The show has lots of great holiday gift possibilities. Popular items include stylish mittens made by Roberta Hebert of Care Wear in Windham. She also creates handmade quilts, bibs, aprons and other knitted items.

Cathie Cantara of Homeport Pottery in Kennebunkport creates one-of-a-kind functional pottery. Fair regular Elizabeth Snowman, of My Comfort Clothes, combines function and beauty in her hand-crafted clothing.

Local crafters include Diane & Bob Wolfort, owners of Julies Ristorante & Provisto in Ogunquit, who bottle the sauces, oils and vinegars that are so popular in their restaurant. Cathy Murphy continues to add new designs and creations to her gold, silver and seaglass jewelry business, Lively Accents. A new crafter this year is Mary Read of Fairgame Wildlife. Mary handcrafts plush Maine Critters for your delight. A must see!
The craft show also includes live music, provided by Carolyn Currie of Cumberland, who is an accomplished singer and songwriter.

The show will be held rain or shine, Saturday and Sunday, November 2 & 3, 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Admission and Parking are FREE.
