| Description: | An outdoor concert in a stunning mountain venue. The Kingfield POPS brings generations of families together from all over Maine and beyond to enjoy the magic of music, mountains, and moonlight. The Kingfield POPS has become part of western Maine's summer tradition. The 2013 concert features: The Bangor Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Grammy-winner Lucas Richman Canadian group The Sultans of String Maine singer-songwriter Anni Clark Youth Ensembles: Flight 317, and the The Smith Brothers & local favorite The Western Mountain Trash Can Band. As always, a spectacular fireworks finale will wrap up the celebration! The Kingfield POPS is festive and welcoming to families. An art walk featuring Maine artisans and artists is open throughout the day in downtown Kingfield, starting at 10 AM. Food is available on site, and picnics are welcome too. Bring blankets and/or low-back chairs. Sorry, no dogs, no fires. Gate opens at 4:30 p.m. June 29, 2013 Tickets: Adults: $25 at the gate, $20 in advance.
