International Homecoming Festival

In honor of its 40th year, the theme for the 2013 International Homecoming Festival is appropriately "40 and Fabulous!" The dates of the celebration are August 2nd to August 11th.

(PLEASE NOTE: Beginning in 2014, the Festival will become a FOUR DAY event, July 31st to August 3rd.)

This year's International Homecoming Festival will include activities for people of all ages at various locations, including the Calais waterfront. New this year will be various bounce houses from The Maine Jump. These will be available for children on Saturday, August 10th and Sunday, August 11th. Included in the array of bounce houses will be the largest water slide in New England.

The International Festival Committee is accepting applications for our annual arts and craft fair to be held at the downtown Triangle Park on parade day, August 10th. Also we are hosting vendors along the Riverfront Walkway where The Maine Jump will be set up Saturday and Sunday (Aug10th and 11th).

We also have a great two days of fun planned for the waterfront. This includes a number of various types of bounce houses coming from The Maine Jump. These will be available for children on Saturday and Sunday of festival (10th and 11th). And for this location, we are inviting vendors of all sorts to attend--food/beverage, novelty items, etc.
