From Saddleback Fall Festival Website:

On September 21, 2014 the Tenth Annual Saddleback Fall Festival will be held from 10am-3pm. It's the last day to buy Saddleback Season Passes at the pre-season price: prices will increase on September 22nd.

Come up early: the Coffee Bar will be open with delicious baked goods. At 9:30, Rangeley Health and Wellness partners with Saddleback to host a Trail Run: a 4 mile challenge with over 4000' of vertical change. Starting at 10:00, Fine Artists and Crafters will be displaying their unique wares including paintings, woodworking and furniture, jewelry of all types, hand sewn items, scarves, foods, soaps, quilts, photography, baskets and more. The Rangeley Ski Scholarship Fund will be hosting their second annual Ski Swap. There will be live music, a delicious BBQ on the deck, fly tying demonstrations, and Jim Quimby and Chris Farmer will be speaking about Saddleback's upcoming season.

For the kids there's a pie eating contest, a pumpkin patch, a hay-bale fort filled with toys and candy, face painting, leaf rubbing, activities led by the Eco-Venture Staffers and more. The kids will be busy all day!

Non-Profits presenting info and activities include the Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust, Little Mountain School, The Rangeley Animal Shelter, Health Community Coalition, Rangeley Lakes Logging Museum, Rangeley Trail Center and X-C Ski Club, The Ski Museum of Maine and the Sandy River and Rangeley Lakes Railroad. From Saddleback, there will be Saddleback Connections, the Ski & Ride School, the Ski Shop, Saddleback Realty, Wedding and Event information and Saddleback Memorabilia on display.
