We started hosting Maine Maple Sunday in the late 1980's with a few people at the sugarhouse. Each year we added a few more exciting activities and more people would come. Maple Sunday has grown by leaps and bounds over the past decade to the point where it is literally the largest event held in our town for the year. Ironically, Neweld, Maine has a population of about 1400, yet Maine Maple Weekend saw about 5,200 people on this weekend in 2014. This is nearly four times the population of our small town.

Please join us on Maine Maple Weekend this coming March 21 and 22, 2015, for two days of fun lled events. On Saturday we will be open from 9AM- 3PM and on Maple Sunday from 8AM- 4PM. We offer exciting activities such as scavenger hunts, calf naming contests, pig weight contests, sap lugging contests, and door prizes. Our Maple Store is fully stocked for the event with many special prices. We will also have free samples of Maple Syrup on pancakes and ice cream, fudge sampling, and maple whoopie pie tasting events. Our maple store is also open throughout the year. We welcome you to visit at your convenience.
