Description: | From Rails, Tails & Ales: The Midcoast Craft Beer Festival Website: Rails, Tails & Ales: The Midcoast Craft Beer Festival
July 21 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Visitors will enjoy great craft beer from Maine breweries, an outdoor car show, plus a family-friendly setting (dogs & kids welcome!) including steam train rides.
Imagine a collection of historic Maine buildings surrounding a large, green lawn (the Village Green) filled with classic, vintage, antique, hot rods, muscle cars and much more. The Brewer's tables, instead of being stuffed inside a tent, will be spread throughout Museum buildings surrounding the lawn like the livery stable and historic town hall.
There will be a people's choice award for most creative Brewery display and additional merchandise like t-shirts, hats and glassware will be offered for sale by the breweries.
Live music by the Scott Davis Band from noon 4pm.
Educational booths about Maine's hops & malt producers including Maine Malt House. Meet vendors selling beer related products and services like Maine Brew Bus.
Featured food vendors are Crust wood-fired pizza, Fahrenheit 225 BBQ, and Victory Lane Ice Cream.
The Museum and Antique Auto Days will be open from 10:00 am 5 pm. Tickets for a wristband to enjoy ten 4 ounce beer tastings from Noon 4 pm is just $30 in advance or $35 at the door (must be 21) and include Museum admission as well as a unique souvenir beer mug. For those not participating in the tastings admission to the Museum including the car show and train rides can be purchased at the door for just $14 for adults, $7 for children.
